Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the much-anticipated World Food India (WFI) 2025 on September 25th at 6:00 PM, marking the beginning of a four-day global celebration of innovation, investment, and international collaboration in the food processing sector. India Aims to Become the Global Food Hub
Hosted by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), the fourth edition of World Food India reinforces India’s ambition to position itself as the "Food Hub of the World." By bringing together global leaders, policymakers, investors, and entrepreneurs, the event seeks to catalyze innovation and forge international partnerships across the entire food value chain.
With participation from a wide range of stakeholders—including domestic and global exhibitors—the event promises to be one of the most comprehensive showcases of the food ecosystem worldwide.
Global Participation and Strategic Partnerships
This year, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia will participate as Partner Countries, reflecting deepening bilateral ties and shared interest in food industry collaboration. Meanwhile, Japan, UAE, Vietnam, and Russia have been named Focus Countries, each bringing expertise and investment potential to the table.
These strategic partnerships are expected to unlock new opportunities for trade, investment, and knowledge sharing, particularly in areas such as sustainable food production, processing technology, packaging, and cold chain logistics.
