·        Mention biometrical methods to unravel genetics of quantitative traits at first- and second-degree statistics levels.

·        Define additive and dominance gene effects. Show with a numerical example how do you   

estimate them? 

·        Show the dynamics of trait means of selfing generations (F₁, F₂ and F₃ generations in the    (a) in the presence of only additive gene  effects and (2) in the presence of dominance effects

·        Define epistasis and different types of digenic epistatic  parameters

·        Write the components of additive and dominance gene effects that contribute to means of  P₁,  P₂, F₁, F₂, B₁ and B₂ generations

·        Illustrate presence and absence of digenic epistasis using a numerical example.
